Commercials are usually best and most effective at anywhere from 30 seconds to 1 minute.  Of course, this length varies from product to product and from brand to brand, but we can definitely produce a compelling commercial in as little as :15 seconds, or as long as :60 seconds. (Or longer, but we’ll likely advise something short and punchy over something long and drawn out, particularly for the point of the sales cycle that most commercials are best suited for: Discovery, and Interest.) In terms of dimensions, high-def formats  (1920×1080 or 1280×720) help ensure compatibility across various platforms. A widescreen aspect ratios of 16:9 is best for a cinematic feel—and is the format most widely in use today.
